Our Calming Kids Australia blankets have been developed with the support and guidance of Occupational Therapists that specialise in sensory processing, sensory defensiveness and emotional regulation. A maximum weight of 10% of an individuals weight is recommended for weighted blankets and it is recommended weighted blankets be used under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
Our Calming Kids Australia blankets can help children and adults with sensory processing differences or sleep difficulties to feel calm, safe and relaxed. They are also for anyone who likes to have the soothing feeling of weight without having to use several blankets. We have a variety of sizes, colours and weights so please do contact us if you have a specific request.

Benefits and features
We use high quality Marine Grade Stainless Steel Pellets to fill our blankets. This allows the blankets to have the weight needed but also allows them to be slimline and gives them a wonderful feel to wrap around and cuddle.
Calming Kids blankets are Australian made, filled and finished, double-sewn for strength, with equal sized pockets for even distribution over the whole blanket. Calming Kids Australia weighted blankets are made to last using high quality fabric, workmanship and filling.
Our blankets are made to order so please allow up to a 2 week turn around when ordering this item. Please do get in touch and we can advise on the current sew time.

Care instructions
They are fully machine washable and the outside cover is removable. We recommend a wash bag be used when washing the weighted blanket insert. These can be purchased here.
